Welcome to the Academy!

Now that you're "in", we want to take just a quick moment to welcome you ... and to set out some mutual expectations for how to make sure you make the most of your experience.

First off, let's summarize what you've just signed up for:

You (the Client) have enrolled in the "Academy" program offered by MNIB Consulting, Inc. (operating as Visionary CEO Academy; aka. the Company, or "we/us").

During your enrollment, we will provide you with 6 months of training, consulting and coaching focused on:

  • Increasing your business’ capacity to enroll new clients
  • Maintaining or improving the level of service received by your clients
  • Developing your team so they can take more responsibility over the day-to-day
  • Freeing you up to do the work you want to be doing in the business

In order to support you as you accomplish those aims, we will work together for a 6-month term, during which we will support you via:

  • Concierge onboarding. We will provide a personal orientation to the program, including training, service and support for tools and protocols used to deliver the program.
  • Ongoing 1:1 mentorship and guidance — in the form of unlimited mentorship and coaching from our team via Slack, Zoom, etc. These calls and mentorship opportunities will be a mix of regularly scheduled and ad hoc, as needed (seriously, need to talk something through? Let us know and we’ll set something up!)
  • Custom action plan—we'll curate a custom action plan for you (and your team, if applicable) to work through. The plan will be aligned with trainings, tools and coaching so you can execute quickly and easily.
  • Strategic reviews— as you progress through your action plan, we’ll connect regularly to review your progress, see where you’re stuck, figure out what may need to change, etc.
  • Recorded trainings & assessments. We will provide access to the ‘Academy’ program materials, which includes step-by-step action items, worksheets, and exercises. Access to the system will continue as long as the program is being actively offered to new clients.
  • Community events & workshops. You will be invited to any community events that we hold (virtually and/or in person); for example: quarterly & annual planning, coworking sessions, mastermind calls, etc.

In return, we expect you to:

  1. Apply a growth mindset. Building a business means experimenting. Not everything will work the first time; the goal is continuous improvement, which means being willing to learn from things that don't work.
  2. Keep your eyes on the prize. If and when momentum starts to fade, review your goals and reasons for joining the program to remind yourself of the importance of continuing even when things feel hard.
  3. Show your work. Be willing to share the highs and the lows with us and with our community. When you learn something, share what you learned. We all get better together.
  4. Trust the process. If you feel stuck, like it’s unclear how everything ties together, or you're feeling tempted to jump ahead, ask for support. Attend calls, complete your action items, and participate in the community.
The Not-So-Fine Print  - Confidential Information

We commit to providing you with all of the above, while also respecting your confidential and proprietary information, ideas, plans, copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property (collectively, “Confidential Information”).

At the same time, we want to celebrate your successes and use your experiences to inspire others. As such, we will ask you to allow us to share your experiences, questions and results with other clients as well as with the public in marketing and sales material. Don't worry; we will always ask you for permission before we do so.

In turn, we expect you to respect the Confidential Information of fellow clients and the Company. In particular, you agree:

  • That the reproduction, distribution and sale of these materials by anyone outside of the Company is strictly prohibited,
  • To only use materials and information provided to you by the Company as authorized by us,
  • To not use or infringe upon any Academy clients’ or the Company’s Confidential Information without prior written consent,
  • To not disclose such Confidential Information to any other person other than in discussion with other Academy clients during your enrolment in the program
The Not-So-Fine Print - Refunds & Payment Terms

This program is 100% non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for any reason. Further, your enrollment cannot be put on hold at any time during the program.

You may decide to leave the program at any time, however, non-participation does not relieve you from the payment of the program in full nor is any part of the payment made refundable. In other words, you are expected to make all of your payments, no matter if you choose not to engage with us for some or all of the 6-month term.

Approximately one month before the end of the term, you will be given the opportunity to indicate whether you would like to renew for another 6-month term. If you indicate that you would like to renew, then great! This agreement will continue to apply for the next 6 months. If not, we'll cancel any ongoing billing and let you go with love once your 6th payment has been received.

Finally, should you become disruptive or difficult to work with, fail to follow the Code of Conduct (see below), impair the participation of staff, contractors or clients, or violate any of the confidentiality and privacy policies listed above, we reserve the right to terminate this agreement and limit, suspend, or terminate your participation in the program without refund or forgiveness.

The Not-So-Fine Print - Code of Conduct:

This Code of Conduct applies to all of this community's spaces – both online and off – including virtual meeting rooms, coaching calls, public and private Slack channels, and direct messages. By using any of these spaces, you confirm that you agree to these guidelines.

The Company does not tolerate harassment of any kind. Examples of harassment include:

  • Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, pregnancy status, veteran status, political affiliation, marital status, body size, age, race, national origin, ethnic origin, nationality, immigration status, language, religion or lack thereof, or other identity markers. This includes anti-Indigenous/Nativeness and anti-Blackness.
  • Unwelcome comments regarding a person's lifestyle choices and practices, including those related to food, health, parenting, relationships, drugs, and employment.
  • Deliberate misgendering, using inappropriate pronouns, or use of "dead" or rejected names.
  • Deliberate intimidation or threats.
  • Stalking or following - online or in the physical world.
  • Harassing photography or recording, including logging online activity for harassment purposes.
  • Sustained disruption of discussion.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Patterns of inappropriate social contact, such as requesting/assuming inappropriate levels of intimacy with others.
  • Continued one-on-one communication after requests to cease.
  • Deliberate "outing" of any aspect of a person's identity without their consent except as necessary to protect vulnerable people from intentional abuse.
  • Publication of non-harassing private communication.
  • Jokes that resemble the above, such as "hipster racism", still count as harassment even if meant satirically or ironically.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, our team members may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the Academy and identification of the participant as a harasser to other members.

At the discretion of our team (or by request), one or more of the parties involved may request to discuss the violation and how to avoid similar situations in the future.
